Asteroid 2012 TC4 pass by Earth at a distance of 95,000 km

An asteroid the size of a house will pass very close to Earth today, as scientists have caution. However, in spite of the fact that the space is very close, the scientists insist that there is no risk of collision with our planet.

Asteroid 2012 TC4 held at a distance of only 95,000 km from the Earth, which is about a quarter of the distance to the Moon at its maximum proximity to the Earth. This asteroid was discovered by astronomers October 4. NASA scientists will be watching it from the lab Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

On Sunday, the asteroid 2012 TV will also pass through the inner orbit of the moon at a distance of about 255,000 from the Earth. NASA scientists and astronomers regularly watch the sky for potentially hazardous asteroids that could pose a threat of collision with the Earth.

Group of hunters asteroid announced on Thursday that they are on track to finalize the launch of private space telescope designed to search for potentially dangerous objects in outer space.
